Jane, CEO & Founder of REGEN Industrial Hemp USA, is a visionary entrepreneur.
Jane created and managed 5 businesses over 32 years. A historic B&B with a 4 star restaurant, Antiques Country Store, exclusive contract w JC Penny’s for handcrafted furniture, and Froggy’s All American Grill & Event Center. Many great names stayed with Jane & Family. Leon Russell & his Family. Dr Hook & the Medicine Show to name a few. The Snake River Blues Festival won awards.
Jane has contributed to her community, state, & our country in numerous, lasting ways. From food coops to free clinics, an art center, Peace Advocate, & the Nuclear Freeze which went global. That attracted people & the news. In walks Mark Dayton & his Wife. Then Paul & Sheila Wellstone. Jane wrote legislation with Paul Wellstone for Job & Pension Protection. Jane wrote MN Care Legislation with Senator Becky Lourey. Jane initiated the National Green Party at the B&B. Paul later launched his campaign at Janes B&B & asked Jane to endorse him. She was Paul’s first strategist recommending a grass roots campaign and the “Magic” Green Bus. Jane created & published an acclaimed, by the MN Dept of Tourism, newspaper for 3 years called The Snake River Trader to support the local MHS Fur Post. She started a Food Shelf & Art Center both still operating.
Jane advocated for the environment fighting Williams, the 1st oil pipeline leak, MN DNR for lake poisoning & the Airforce for war games. All thee above were big wins. Jane advocated Universal Healthcare, access to education, safe food, basic income, safe housing, water protection, & air quality. In 1991 She organized The International Whole Earth Fair for Sustainable Living & Renewable Energy Expo. Educators & people came from every country in the world a person could walk to another country to catch a plane. Jane also co taught Sharing & Caring Society with Author Charles Eisenstiein at the Wellstone Center. One of Jane’s most memorable times was seeing a Palestinian & Israeli sitting at her BB porch table talking & departed hugging each other. And another teaching high school students Personal Empowerment. She also taught Sustainable Living Classes at Comm Ed. Jane spearheaded & volunteered for all of the above.
Jane considers Industrial Hemp to be the biggest opportunity to revitalize the US economy, and a true game-changer on a global scale. Jane believes Hemp is the answer to correct & stabilize life for the next 25 generations.
